Our study “Ensnared in Poverty – A Study on Rural Indebtedness in India” undertaken for ASSOCHAM presents the trajectory of rural debt in India and an analysis of its reasons and consequences. It provides a comparative analysis of the situation from 2002 to 2012 followed by a study of the impact of new schemes introduced since 2014. It then lists out the challenges in implementing these schemes and provides possible solutions. For more details about the outcome of our study please get in touch with us at email@example.com or with ASSOCHAM at http://www.assocham.org/publications.php.
