Thought Arbitrage Research Institute (TARI) is a multi-disciplinary research think tank with 200+ person-years experience in defining public policies and their implementation.
TARI works with the Government of India and State Governments and engages with a number of stakeholders across the spectrum to find delimitative answers using quantitative and qualitative techniques.
The team’s experience in international best practices gained in both developing and developed countries brings unique depth to its assignments. Knowledge acquired from projects across the world helps deliver plans unmatched in efficiency and feasibility.
TARI is part privately funded by Indian and global companies. Close associations with Indian companies and their management results in a deep understanding of their governance and management techniques and issues.
TARI is propelled by the belief that tomorrow’s arbitrage will have less to do with labour, cost and capital and more to do with knowledge, ideas and thought. Countries that are ahead in these areas will control the course of global economic power.
An illustrious advisory board: Among those who drive the agenda at TARI are Mr. VK Shunglu, former Comptroller and Auditor General of India; CM Vasudev, Chairman of HDFC Bank; and AS Firoz, Chief Economist, Economic Research Unit, Government of India.
The founders of TARI are Kaushik Dutta and Kshama V Kaushik. As TARI is a company defined under Section 25 (Companies Act 1956), the founders are not entitled to any remuneration or benefit in kind.
