Prevention of Sexual Harassment at the Workplace

We at TAC believe that no organisation can truly thrive without a safe space for all stakeholders. In today’s global and digital age, sexual harassment at the workplace permeates all boundaries (physical and digital). For an organisation and its members to perform strongly in the workplace, the organisation must not only be free from incidents of sexual harassment but must have strong and robust mechanisms to adequately and fairly address incidents of sexual harassment


Our POSH compliance advisory helps organisations set up and operate a sound and effective framework to report and appropriately address instances of sexual harassment at the workplace. We, at TAC, provide the following services relating to anti-sexual harassment at the workplace practices:

  • Ensure that organisations have formulated a valid and legally complain prevention of sexual harassment at the workplace policy (POSH Policy), which is easily available to all employees and relevant stakeholders of the organisation;
  • Evaluate effectiveness of the POSH Policy;
  • Ensure that organisations comply with the statutory requirements and annual return submissions relating to the POSH Policy;
  • Conduct training programs for organisations to educate and sensitise employees about sexual harassment at the workplace, redressal rights available to them in incidents of sexual harassment meted out at the workplace;
  • Conduct training programs for members of internal complaints committee to educate them on the process of carrying out a complaint and fair investigation processes; and
  • Assist the internal complaints committee in conducting the investigation in an appropriate and complaint manner.
